Dr Heidi Fischer

As a comprehensive ophthalmologist, Dr. Fischer provides eye care for people ages teen to adult. Shehas been practicing ophthalmology since 1997. The scope of her practice includes routine eye exams, treating disease of the eye, performing various types of eye surgery, eyelid surgery, and the cosmetic procedures of Blepharoplasty and Botox Cosmetic.

Dr. Fischer pursued her medical training at Harvard Medical School. She completed an internship in Internal Medicine at the New England Deaconess Hospital, followed by a surgical residency in opthalmology at Washington University Eye Center in St Louis, MO.

Dr. Fischer is Board Certified in Ophthalmology. She is on staff at Newton-Wellesley Hospital and SurgiSite Boston.  Dr. Fischer was named Massachusetts Medical Society Community Clinician of the Year in 2016.
