These are some unique times! Due to the current COVID-10 pandemic, the manner in which we conduct the practice of eye services to our patients will be altered.
At Dedham Ophthalmic Consultants and Surgeons, the safety of our staff and patients is our number one priority. Whereas a lot is still to be discovered with regards to the COVID-19 virus, we will be taking extraordinary measures. Such measures will require that we space our patients in a way that no more than a few will be present in the waiting area. We have removed the excess chairs from our office and have spaced them 6 feet apart.
Our check-in procedures will be conducted primarily via telephone, to avoid having more than one patient at a time in line. If there is a patient checking in at the window when you arrive, we will ask that the next in line remain at least 6 feet behind.
The examination lanes will be sanitized between each and every patient. Every piece of equipment will be sanitized, the doctor and patient chairs, doorknobs, cabinet handles, etc. This will require staff to have allocated time to perform these sanitation measures. Please bear with us as we are going through this for the first time together.
We request that all patients coming in will wear a mask. If you have any questions regarding our transition back, please do not hesitate to contact us at 781-251-2222.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
