Dr Arnold J Kroll to Retire After 40 Years of Dedicated Service

It is with decidedly mixed feelings that we are announcing Dr. Kroll’s decision to retire.

After years of dedicated service, Dr. Kroll has decided that it’s time to step back and enjoy the fruits of over 40 years of practice and enjoy spending time and watching his grandchildren grow up.

Dr. Kroll started his work with us in 2000 at Dedham Medical Associates and then at Dedham Ophthalmic Consultants and Surgeons for the past 12 years. He was an attending physician, in the mid-1980s, at Tufts Medical Center, where, as a volunteer professor, he taught many in our practice about diseases of the retina and their treatment. Dr. Kroll was well respected as a professional and knowledgeable physician with profound surgical skill.

Hard Shoes to Fill

At Dedham Ophthalmic Consultants and Surgeons, we believe the addition of Dr. Nicole Siegel from Boston Medical Center will help fill those shoes. She joins her colleague, Dr. Manju Subramanian, who has been working with us for over 7 years and, like Dr. Kroll, has developed a well-deserved reputation of clinical excellence.

We Did Our Due Diligence

We know that any change in doctors is stressful. This is one of the reasons we conducted an extensive search before hiring Dr. Siegel. We ensured that our practice located a skilled and caring retina specialist that could provide ongoing excellent care for Dr. Kroll’s patients. Since joining us, she is already building a very busy and successful practice, working alongside Dr. Kroll. Dr. Siegel would be delighted and honored to provide ongoing care for Dr. Kroll’s patients and is subsequently increasing her time to accommodate that need.

Please join us in wishing Dr. Kroll a well-deserved retirement after over 50 years of dedicated practice.
