Dedham, MA – Friday, October 25, 2019. Following last year’s success, we will be joining eye care centers throughout the United States to help support the Hawaiian Eye Foundation. Staff members from ophthalmology centers across the US will be wearing Hawaiian themed attire to work, as a fun activity to raise funding for this worthwhile cause. The Hawaiian Eye Foundation provides eye exams and surgeries to underserved villages throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
In order for staff to participate, they will be asked to donate a minimum of $5.00 for the privilege of casual wear or authentic dress-up. All participating eye centers are encouraged to create a festive luau themed environment at the office, complete with decorations and leis.
Therefore, those coming into the office will enjoy a Hawaiian escape, complete with decorations and leis. We are asking our Friday visitors to participate. Dedham Ophthalmic Consultants and Surgeons will match every dollar raised.
If you’d prefer to donate online, here is the donation page. Be sure you indicate what practice/center/business you’re donating on behalf (if applicable). Please Donate and Share!
Happy Aloha Friday! #spreadalohagivesight
